Declan Mazur (he/they)

Editor-in-Chief

Declan (DJ) Mazur is a third-year ETA in Busan teaching at a co-ed North Korean Defector middle and high school. He graduated from NYU Shanghai with a B.A. in Global China Studies, focusing on cultural anthropology and China-Korea Peninsula relations. Outside of Infusion, you’ll find Declan reminding those close to him that Dunkin Donuts reigns supreme to Krispy Kreme in the Korean donut market.

Anna Cella (she/her)

Anna Cella is a first-year ETA at Geumsan Middle and High School, all-boys public schools located in the Chungnam province. She graduated from Samford University with a B.A. in International Relations. In her free time, she can be found memorizing Korean conjugations and finding her new favorite sweet treat at a local cafe.

Megan Lutes (she/her)

Megan Lutes is a first-year ETA in Mokpo, Jeollanam-do where she teaches at a middle school. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in apparel design and a master’s degree in English studies both from Ball State University. Outside of the classroom and Infusion, you’ll find her reading in different cafes across Mokpo, attending Pilates classes, and planning her upcoming 2027 wedding.

Ebonee Rice-Nguyen (she/her)

Ebonee is a second-year ETA at an Elementary school in Jinhae, Gyeongsangnam-do. She graduated from University of Pittsburgh where she studied English Literature and Writing as well as Gender and Women’s studies. When she’s not teaching she is playing volleyball, reading, or taking a stroll.

Solveig Asplund (she/her)

Solveig Asplund is a second-year ETA at an elementary school in Masan, Gyeongsangnam-do. She studied English Literature at Brown University, where she also wrote an advice column for the school’s magazine and swam on the club team. On the weekends, you can find her reconciling her caffeine and lactose intolerance with an einspänner addiction.

Maddie Stokes (she/her)

Maddie Stokes is a second-year ETA at an all-girls middle school in Cheongju, Chungcheongbuk-do. She graduated from the University of Virginia with degrees in Global Literature and Poetry Writing. When not teaching, Maddie spends most of her time searching for the best konguksu on the Korean peninsula or doing the day’s crossword (or both at once, though that sometimes gets messy).

John Austin DeLozier (he/him)

John Austin DeLozier is a first-year ETA at Chungju Commercial High School in Chungju, Chungcheongbuk-do. He graduated from Baylor University after studying Political Science and Classics. He enjoys hiking and learning languages, leading to quite the enjoyable experience in Korea.

Kaylin McLiverty (she/her)

Kaylin McLiverty is a first-year ETA teaching at an all-boys high school in Jeonju-si, Jeollabuk-do. She graduated from Northern Arizona University with an M.S. in Statistics and a B.S. in Mathematics. Outside the classroom, you will often find Kaylin going on long nature walks, taking photos, or visiting her local museum or library.

Justin Haddad (he/him)

Justin Haddad is a first-year ETA at a Science High School in Wonju, Gangwon-do, and a public Middle School in Shillim, Gangwon-do. He graduated with a degree in Math and Computer Science from Columbia University. Outside of work, Justin spends most of his time playing Ping-Pong with his ahjussi friends.

Eden Perez Bonilla (they/them)

Eden Perez Bonilla is a third-year ETA at an all-girls vocational high school in Jeongeup, Jeonbuk-do. They have a B.A. in Asian Studies from Occidental College with a focus on art history. They fill their free time with a long list of pastimes, but you’re most likely to hear about the San Antonio Spurs. They’re grateful to return to Infusion, having been a Monitor last year.

Lora Tuzzolino (she/her)

Monitor

Lora Tuzzolino is a second-year ETA at an all-girls middle school is Yeongcheon-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do. She graduated from the University of South Florida with a B.S. in Secondary English Education and from the University of Central Florida with an M.A. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). When not teaching, Lora can be found learning dance choreographies and making costumes.

Pey Straubel (she/her)

Pey is a second-year ETA at a middle school in Jinju, Gyeongsangnam-do. She grew up in Connecticut and attended Bryn Mawr College, where she majored in English literature with double minors in data science and psychology. When she isn’t teaching, you can find her reading, learning Korean, traveling, and searching for indoor archery ranges where she can practice.

Cady Cummins (she/her)

Cady Cummins is a first-year ETA teaching at an elementary school in Pohang, Gyeongsangbuk-do. She graduated from the University of Richmond with a B.A. in Psychology. Outside of teaching, Cady enjoys playing badminton with her fellow teachers and performing for her invisible audience at the coin noraebang.

Emma Knaack is a second-year ETA in Hwacheon, Gangwon-do teaching at an after-school community center program for both elementary and middle school students. She graduated from the University of Indianapolis with a degree in English creative and professional writing. Beyond the classroom, you’ll find her reading, watching movies, or dyeing her hair.

Adelaide McDonald (she/her)

Adelaide McDonald is a first-year ETA at a co-ed High School in Damyang, Jeollanam-do. She graduated with a double major in Anthropology and Economics in 2022, and dual master’s in Vocal Performance and Musicology in 2025 from West Virginia University. At school, you can find Adelaide free-talking or playing sports with the students in the gym. Outside of work, she loves hunting down a sweet treat and going to Noraebang!
